Rob Vaughan is a seasoned veteran of the US Army Special Operations community, with 19 years of service under his belt. He began his military career in 1995 as a senior weapons sergeant and went on to hold several high-ranking positions, including cell leader, TIER 1 operator and team leader with the US Army’s Special Missions Unit, and liaison between the unit and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). During this time, Robert supported JSOC by conducting full mission profile exercises and coordinating efforts during live operations, and he represented the unit as a Training and Evaluation Sergeant Major at JSOC.
After his honorable discharge from the military, Rob continued to utilize his expertise to benefit others. He instructed at the Government Training Institute and served as the Director of International Training for Global Risk Advisors, where he helped fix several departmental issues. In 2019, he founded Shadow Group Tactical Solutions, which provides advanced and relevant tactics, techniques, and procedures for military and law enforcement personnel in the fight against terrorism. To date, Robert has trained thousands of military and law enforcement personnel and conducted Needs Assessments for SWAT teams throughout the US and its territories.
Rob’s extensive experience and expertise make him a valuable asset to the military and law enforcement communities. With his background in the US Army Special Operations community, he has a wealth of knowledge and skills to offer, and he continues to make a positive impact through his training programs at Shadow Group Tactical Solutions.
