We are thrilled to share the tremendous success of the Cultivating Courage: Brothers Keeper Veteran Foundation’s Inaugural Gala, held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at City Winery, in Nashville, Tennessee. The event was a resounding triumph, and we are sincerely grateful for the overwhelming support from our community.

Keynote Speaker – Trevor Beaman:
Trevor Beaman, an active duty US Army Special Forces soldier and Green Beret, delivered a powerful keynote address. He shared personal stories of vulnerability and determination, serving as a beacon of hope for those overcoming pain and trauma. Trevor emphasized the importance of mental health and trauma awareness, encouraging others to find happiness, growth, and purpose.

Guest Speaker – Eric Morante:
Eric Morante, a Marine Corps veteran and NABA featherweight boxing champion, shared his inspirational journey. Despite losing his right leg in a suicide bomber attack during deployment in Iraq, Eric embraced boxing and became the first Marine amputee sanctioned to compete in the United States. His dedication to inspiring fellow veterans and children with disabilities was evident in his motivational speaking engagements.

Music Performance by Zach Haines:
Zach Haines, a singer/songwriter and Purple Heart recipient, provided a soulful musical experience. Born and raised in Gladwin, Michigan, and a veteran of the United States Army, Zach’s performance resonated with the audience. His unique style, influenced by personal experiences, showcased the healing power of music.
